Checking a training provider.
The provider register records the training providers the Training Industry Body has approved, and whether that approval is current. Look a provider up by the register reference they give you, or by their registered name.
What the register shows
- » Approved — we have reviewed the provider's evidence and approved them to deliver the courses shown, until the date shown.
- » Expired — the approval reached its end date and has not yet been renewed. This is not a finding against the provider.
- » Suspended — TIB has paused the approval while a matter is dealt with. We do not publish the reason.
- » Withdrawn — the provider is no longer approved. Withdrawn entries stay visible for two years.
What this check tells you
The register is our own record of our decisions, so it is the place to confirm a provider's status — not a certificate, a website or an email. It shows only what is needed to confirm that status: no reasons, no review findings and no names of the people involved.
To check an individual trainer, use the trainer register. To check a certificate, use certificate verification.
